A Ceremonial Journey with Cacao & Mugwort
On this full moon evening we gather around the fire to connect with two ancient plant allies:
Mugwort (Artemisia Vulgaris / Gråbynke) – a magical moon-plant, long known as an ally of witches, dreamers and healers. Mugwort has been used in rituals for centuries as a plant of magic, of the womb, of the moon, of dreams, clarity and transformation.
Ceremonial Cacao – a heart-opening and deeply nourishing medicine. Gentle and powerful at once, Cacao supports us in opening the portal to the world of medicine. In grounding, connecting and entering a space of presence.
Together, these plants weave a gateway for journeying inwards, prayer, music, and soul-rest. With a witchy twist and the full moon to guide us ;)

The Ceremony
Guided by the loving spirit of Cacao and Mugwort, acoustic music, songs, and the steady rhythm of the drum, we will move through:
Opening circle & setting intentions
Sound journey with Cacao & Mugwort
Prayer rounds
Sharing circle
Potluck meal as part of the medicine
Closing circle
This 5-hour ceremony unfolds intuitively, allowing the plants to guide the flow. It may include meditation, sound, song, drumming, prayer, relaxation and deep rest. We will end the evening with a potluck.
There are no prerequisites – come as you are, with everything you are.

What to bring:
A cup for cacao
A little gift for the nature where we will be (e.g. seeds, water, a song etc)
Comfortable and WARM clothes, blanket, pillow if needed
Something to sit on outdoors
Food to share for the potluck (something easy to eat without a plate)
a full waterbottle
Notebook and pen if you like to write afterwards
Language:
We guide in English. You are welcome to share in whichever language you feel comfortable.

Your payment is fully refundable until 2 weeks before the event. After that, only if we can find a replacement for your spot.

About the plants
Mugwort
Artemisia (aka mugwort or Gråbynke) is a queen of plants, a magical witchy plant connected to the moon. Mugwort has been used as a magical and medicinal herb for thousands of years. Known as the healer of the women, it has been used in rituals since humans first settled in Europe. This masterplant is one of the most magical witchy herbs we know!
Growing wild in rural areas, it is considered by many to be a weed, but its medicine can lift us to higher realms. It is one of our most powerful plant allies, bringing clarity and awareness.
Cacao
Cacao has been used in rituals and ceremonies in Central and South America for thousands of years. Ceremonial Cacao is very different from the sweet cocoa drink many know – it is unprocessed, rich in nutrients, and carries active compounds that open the heart, increase blood flow and bring us into presence.
The energy of cacao can be like a mother - so grounded, so loving, so deeply nourishing and connected to the earth. It is a wise, ancient and powerful plant medicine.
Cacao allows us to deepen into whatever practice or connection intentionally work with. Some comes to our ceremonies to reconnect to their hearts. Others comes for a pause, a resting place between the sometimes stressed everyday life. Others come to connect deeper with the healing energy, wisdom and medicine of nature. Whatever perspective you come from you are welcome.
