Plant Kinship Journey
A month-long immersion into deeper relationship with a plant, with nature, and with yourself — from your own home, woven into your actual life.
Plants have been our companions, medicines, foods, materials, teachers and kin for thousands of years.
And yet most of us have learned to look at them without really seeing them.
We might know their names or their medicinal properties (if even).
We know what they can give us.
But what happens when we begin to relate to a plant as someone — rather than something?
This is where the journey begins.
This kind of relationship can touch surprisingly many parts of our lives.
You may begin to notice the ways you relate to other people.
Where you rush to give.
Where you hold back.
Where you find it difficult to receive.
Where you have forgotten how to listen to your own needs.
You may discover that spending time with a plant changes something about the way you move through your day.
Perhaps you become more attentive.
Perhaps you begin to recognise patterns you couldn't quite see before.
Perhaps you simply find yourself breathing more deeply beneath a tree.
Though you enter with an intention/direction, there is no particular outcome you need to create.
The relationship itself is the practice.
This is an invitation to dive deeper into the practice of Plant Spirit Herbalism & Shamanism with a plant teacher of your choice.
For one month, you will enter into a deeper relationship with one plant teacher.
You will be guided through an online journey of practices, teachings, sound and reflection, and meet with us live each week to go deeper into what is unfolding.
We begin with an Opening Ceremony.
We journey together for a month.
And we close with a Closing Ceremony — gathering what has happened and bringing the experience back into the wider landscape of your life.
This is a different kind of immersion.
It doesn't ask you to put your ordinary life on pause.
Instead, it invites you to explore what becomes possible when depth and everyday life meet.
“This place is rare.
It is full of deep wisdom, respect, love and embodiment. Eva Maria and Stephan holds such a beautiful space together and separately.
It feels so spacious and fully alive. I love how they give every proces fully time to evolve and how they use the power of nature so skillfully, that pure magic must happen.
They are very good teachers, that gives all information you could ever need in a clear and light way.
They create music, that goes really deep on all levels, because it springs from that kind of authenticity, that only people that has gone through deep processes and continues to grow throughout life, can carry... ”
So what actually happens?
For one month, you will work closely with one plant teacher. A beautiful opportunity to learn & attune to a Plant-teacher of your choice (e.g. Birch, Rose, Nettle, Oak, Blue Lotus, Mugwort, Yarrow etc).
You will have access to an online journey with guided practices, teachings, videos and audio journeys that you can work with throughout the week.
Every week, we meet live online.
These sessions are where we go deeper together. We guide the process, open the space, answer questions, work with what is arising, and help you move beyond simply doing the practices on your own.
The journey begins with an Opening Ceremony, where we establish the container and enter into relationship with your plant teacher.
It ends with a Closing Ceremony, where we gather the journey, integrate what has happened and mark the transition back into the wider world.
In between, you have a month to actually live with the work.
To return to your plant.
To listen.
To notice.
To allow the relationship to develop.
Your month includes:
An online Plant Kinship Journey with teachings and guided practices
Guided video and audio practices to work with throughout the month
Weekly live online sessions with Eva Maria & Stephan
An Opening Ceremony
A Closing Ceremony
Practices for developing a relationship with your plant teacher
Guidance for bringing the work into your everyday life
A supportive container and community to journey alongside
And then there is the part that cannot really be put into a curriculum:
you live it.
You take the relationship with you into your days.
You meet your plant in the morning.
You sit with them after a long day.
You notice them changing with the season.
You bring a question into the relationship.
You listen.
You return.
You let something unfold over time.
This is not about fitting transformation neatly into an hour of practice.
It is about allowing the practice to become part of your life.
A deeper way of learning from nature
There is a difference between learning about plants and learning from plants.
You can read about a plant's properties, traditional uses and identification.
That can be valuable.
But plant kinship asks for something more intimate.
It asks you to pay attention.
To develop a relationship.
To become familiar
What happens when you spend enough time with a plant that you begin to know it through relationship?
When you stop approaching nature only as something to understand, use or consume — and begin to approach it as something you can be in relationship with?
This is where devotion comes in.
Devotion is not about believing in something blindly.
It is about giving something your attention, care and love.
Returning.
Listening.
Showing up again.
Letting a relationship become meaningful over time.
And this changes the way we experience the world.
The plant becomes more than an object of study.
Nature becomes more than a place we visit.
And we begin to remember that belonging is not an idea.
It is a relationship.
Depth, in the middle of life
There are many ways to go deep.
Sometimes we step away from ordinary life and enter a dedicated container where everything around us supports the process.
Sometimes depth happens through a sustained relationship that unfolds while we continue living our lives.
The Plant Kinship Journey belongs to the second kind.
We are interested in what happens when the depth meets the breath.
The depth of practice.
Meditation.
Silence.
Devotion.
Ceremony.
Relationship with plants.
Relationship with the more-than-human world.
The breath is your actual life.
Your home.
Your work.
Your relationships.
Your body.
The people you love.
The things that need doing.
The ordinary Tuesday.
This journey brings the two together.
Because there is something powerful about discovering that deep inner and spiritual work does not only belong to extraordinary places and extraordinary moments.
It can happen while you are living your life.
And perhaps even more importantly, you get to notice what the practice and the relationship does to the way you live that life.
“I just finished a Kinship Journey with Stephan and Eva Maria. It far exceeded my expectations.
I have never before experienced spaceholders capable of carrying and sustaining such a clearcut and pure intention to empower others.
From the beginning I could feel that so much love, care and hard won experience had been put into designing the structure of the programme.
Throughout the 34 days I felt they were always there as a subtle presence supporting my ongoing process. In my experience this is real empowerment and re-connecting to yourself, at your pace, and within a safe and very sacred container.”

Plant Kinship Journey as a Dieta Suave?
This journey can be compared to what is called a “soft” Master Plant Dieta (Dieta Suave).
Note: This is not a traditional Dieta. It does not include the strict dietary restrictions, the ceremonial framework and spiritual guidance. Instead, it is a contemporary, initiative practice of entering into a relationship with the medicine of a plant in everyday life.
If you are curious for a Dieta - check out our Summer Nordic Dietas.
