We offer a gentle ceremonial space for deep rest, grounding, and integration through Ceremonial Cacao, nature, music, and presence.
Following our Chiric Sanango Retreat, we open the Sunday Cacao Ceremony as a separate gathering — welcoming both retreat participants and new guests who feel called to join us for an afternoon of calmness, nourishment, and reconnection.
Guided by Stephan and Eva Maria, we will gather in nature and allow the spirit of Cacao to support the body and nervous system in softening, settling, and integrating.
Through stillness, acoustic music, shamanic drumming, silence, prayer, and simple presence, we create a space where the body can exhale and the mind can rest.
This ceremony is less about “doing” and more about allowing.
Allowing yourself to slow down.
To listen.
To feel what is already here beneath the noise and tension of everyday life.
Whether you come from the retreat or join only for the ceremony, you are warmly welcome exactly as you are.
Ceremonial Cacao
Cacao has been used ceremonially in South and Central America for thousands of years as a sacred plant medicine for connection, prayer, healing, and community.
The spirit of Cacao is often experienced as gentle, grounding, heart-opening, and nourishing. Many people experience it as a supportive ally for relaxation, emotional openness, inner connection, and presence.
In this ceremony, we work with Cacao as a medicine for softness and regulation — supporting the nervous system in finding safety, warmth, calmness, and connection.
Combined with music, nature, silence, and shamanic work, the ceremony becomes an opportunity to reconnect with the body’s own wisdom and natural rhythm.

The Ceremony
Together we gather in a held ceremonial space in nature / indoors, depending on the weather
There will be moments of guided meditation, sound journeying, singing, silence, prayer, sharing, and deep rest. Throughout the ceremony, Stephan and Eva Maria may also offer intuitive shamanic treatments within the circle.
The atmosphere is gentle and spacious.
There is nothing you need to perform, achieve, or become.
You are invited simply to arrive as you are.
For some, this becomes a space for emotional integration.
For others, a deep pause for the nervous system.
For others again, a moment to reconnect with nature, spirit, and the heart.
We allow the plants, the music, and the shared field to guide the flow naturally.

The abundant, playful spirit of Cacao
Ceremonial cacao is quite different than the hot cocoa you might remember from your childhood.
Our Ceremonial Cacao comes from non-hybridized, non-plantation under-story trees in the ancient tropical rain forest of Guatemala. It goes through minimum processing thus retain the active compounds and nutrients.
It has more calcium than cows milk, 40 times more antioxidants than blueberries and is the number one superfood for magnesium.
