The Oak Path – OFFFLINE Ceremony - When Light Meets Darkness

When the Light Meets the Darkness

A Pre-Recorded Winter Solstice Ceremony & Drum Journey

Available from 25th of December 2025

On the winter solstice, the sun reaches its lowest point.
It is the turning of the Wheel — Yule — the ancient moment when the deepest darkness gives birth to the returning light.

This ceremony welcomes you into that threshold.

What This Ceremony Is About

Around Christmas, the world turns toward light, family, and celebration.
But in the natural cycle — and on the Oak Path — we stand at the deepest point of the underworld journey, where the Devil waits as a guardian of shadow. His presence invites us to face what we resist, what we hide, and what we would rather not see in ourselves.

At the same time, another movement unfolds:
On the very darkest day, a new spark of light is born — the Fool, the innocent traveler stepping into existence with nothing but potential.

Two cycles overlap here.
Two movements, one breath.
The darkest night giving birth to new light.

Christian tradition recognizes this moment as the birth of the holy child.
Egyptian mythology speaks of Horus — pure spirit taking form.
And in the Tarot, the same threshold opens as the Fool stepping out of the void, ready for a new journey.

Opposite him stands the Devil — not the Christian caricature, but the Light Bringer, the revealer of illusion, the one who exposes shadow so we can finally meet ourselves with honesty.

This ceremony guides you into that liminal space —
the crack between worlds, where the light meets the darkness.
