Summer Solstice Celebration

Yah - beautiful tribes people and community,

We wish to invite you all to a Summer Solstice Celebration out in nature! So set the date!

This celebration will be for all and so you are welcome to bring your family, your friends and tribes members to join. We will make this together ending the celebration with a big potluck dinner.

We wish to be in nature, but will bring our big tipi-tents if the weather turns out to be very rainy ;) To do all the things we wish to do, we most likely will have to rent a place - but will let you know when we have found it.

This celebration is in the line of the community events we are hosting a few times per year - together with our Yule get-together.

Program

Saturday: Ecstatic dance & evening bonfire

Our dream for the dance will be barefooted on the grass, under the trees. The evening will be guided by a mixture of acoustic music and stereo music.
We will take care of a big put of soup on the bonfire for dinner.

Sunday: Summer Solstice Fire-ritual for all of our relations with Cacao & Potluck dinner/lunch

For those of you attending both days, we will provide breakfast.

For all the details? Let’s see, once we get into 2026 how the energy settles and what would be the most delicious for us all!

Saturday 20th of June - Sunday 21st of June (yes, you can drop in)

Place:

Outside, most likely somewhere on Sjælland…

Accommodation:

Tent - bring your own stuff.

Your Contribution

Be part of the community — through presence, participation, and shared responsibility.

Food

If you arrive early, feel free to bring snacks.
For Sunday Potluck, please bring something to share for our Potluck Dinner.

Decoration

Please bring festive decorations for our common space (ourdoors + our big tipi-tent).
You will get them back afterwards.

Service

If you feel called to contribute more, let us know.
We are looking for:

• Dance guardians - to help hold the space of the dance Saturday

• Preparing the Sunday breakfast

• Helping with preparations Saturday during the day and clean-up Sunday evening

Money

• The ceremony Sunday itself is donation-based.
  (Cacao is 55 kr. per person)

• The basic expenses & center we rent is not — the cost is around 220 DKK per person per day (children under 15 is half price, and children under 8 is free)

• The Ecstatic dance incl. dinner is 333 kr. per person (children under 15 is half price, and children under 8 is free)

What to bring:

• Something to sit/lay on outside

• full water bottle

• food for the celebration potluck (for Sunday)

• picnic blanket to sit on when we eat

• cup, bowl/plate, utilities etc.

• Tent + sleeping gear

• warm clothes

• an offering for nature for the Sunday ritual.
