The Oak Path – Men’s Ceremony

  • 4420 Regstrup Denmark (map)

Pilgrimage to the King’s Oak

We leave the usual setting and walk together to one of the oldest living beings in Northern Europe -
the Kongeegen, the King’s Oak.

Growing in the forests of Jægerspris, Sjælland this tree has stood for an estimated 1500–2000 years.
Long before our time, it rooted into the earth, weathered storms, and witnessed generations come and go.

To sit with such a presence is not symbolic alone—
it is an encounter.

This gathering is for men who feel the call to step into deeper presence, responsibility, and inner leadership.

Not by force.
Not by performance.

But by returning to a place within that is steady, rooted, and able to hold direction.

A place we may call the inner King.

The Ceremony includes:

  • Arrival and opening circle in nature

  • Shared walk (pilgrimage) to the King Oak

  • Introduction to the theme (shared after sign-up)

  • Guided meditation and ceremonial space at the tree

  • Ceremonial cacao

  • Sound and silence in nature

  • Closing circle and integration

We will end with a simple shared meal in nature—
grounding the experience in human connection.

Why the Oak

The Oak stands for strength without force.
For stability without rigidity.
For a connection between earth and sky.

The King Oak has held this place for centuries.
To meet it is to meet something that does not rush, does not react, and does not need to prove itself.

It invites us to remember the same within ourselves.

This is not therapy.
It is not performance.

It is a space to step out of distraction,
to meet yourself honestly,
and to take your seat—again.
